The Edward and Arlene Heinemann Lind Dryland Research Endowment was established in 2008. The Heinemann’s recognized the need for “common expenditure” items to maintain buildings and procure laboratory and field equipment at the Lind Station, to benefit agricultural research in the low-precipitation region.
